Having bought the right horse, the next step is to appoint an experienced trainer and we are delighted to have Stuart Kittow as our trainer. Successful and respected, Stuart worked alongside Gerald Cottrell for 15 years as assistant trainer before branching out on his own in 2001. Last year, a third of the horses trained by Stuart either won or were placed.

Stuart's privately owned training facility includes a hundred acres of rolling countryside in the heart of Devon's Blackdown Hills. The all-weather gallop incorporates a straight of five furlongs - custom designed to get the best from the horses in training.

Our horses are kept fresh on the yard's own pastures ensuring that they are well rested and ready for their next race.
