RACING GUILD COMPETITIONS OVERVIEW

In addition to ‘one-off’ competitions based around, eg The Cheltenham festival and the Grand National meeting, the forum hosts another competition. All the competitions are open to any Racing Guild member.

The Prediction Competition.

This is our ongoing tipster competition. All entrants choose a horse to score points for them in the three races that are listed on the forum ahead of ‘race-days’ which are every Wednesday and every Saturday. Points are awarded based on the horses' finishing positions and their SP, however the banter is as enjoyable as the accumulating of points !!

Having said that, almost 50% of our entrants had already won prizes in the first 6 months since the competition started in September of 2004. The main cash prize and trophy is awarded every 6 months. For entrants unable to regularly post their selections, default entries are permitted – eg Favourite, Number 2, Number 5 etc. Cost is just £10 per month, all of which goes into the prize kitty.
