oval track of 1m 2f, with fairly tight turns and an undulating
run-in of four furlongs. Races of five and six furlongs start
on the straight, more undulating two furlong extension of the
run-in.

Road: West of the town on the A61. Free car park adjacent to
the course for buses and cars.

Rail: Thirsk Station (from King's Cross) is half a mile from
the course.
