An
oval course of 1m 5f, joined to a straight six furlongs by a
tightish bend at the five furlong point. The straight course
is slightly on the ascent except for a shallow dip at the 'distance'
and, in general, this is a rather sharp track.
By
Road: The course is situated 2 miles South-East of the city,
on the B6265. There is free parking for cars and buses.
By
Rail: Harrogate Station (11 miles), or Thirsk (15 miles). Bus
services to Ripon.
