An
oval, undulating course of 2m 133y with two sharp bends and
a straight run-in of only two furlongs. There is a steep acsent
over the last three furlongs. The undulations make it unsuitable
for a long-striding horse.
By
Road: 1 mile North of the town on the A639. Junction 32 of the
M62. Free car park adjacent to the course.
By
Rail: Pontefract Station (Baghill), 1 and a half miles from
the course. Regular bus service from Leeds.
