An
oval track of about 1m 7f, 80 feet wide with a slightly undulating
straight mile. The round mile and 7f 60y starts are set on a
chute from the round course and both join the straight about
five furlongs from the finish. Newbury is a good, galloping
track which is efficiently watered during dry periods.

Road: East of the town off the A34 (M4, junction 12 or 13).
