circuit of 1m 3f, somewhat undulating, with a straight run-in
of two and a half furlongs. Five and six furlong races start
on an extension which joins the round course about three furlongs
from the line and has a slight rise over the final furlong.
Despite its gentle turns and its width, Folkstone cannot be
described as a galloping track.

Road: 6 miles West of town at Westenhanger. Easy access from
junction 11 of the M20. Car park adjoins the stands.
By
Rail: Westenhanger Station adjoins course. Trains from Charing
Cross.
