BEVERLEY Racecourse

Beverley Racecourse, York Road, Beverley, Yorkshire, HU17 8Q2

Tel: 01482-867488

An overal course of 1m 3f set on two levels. A chute to the back straight provides a mile and a quarter course, which has a straight run of some five furlongs to a steep downhill bend into the home turn and an uphill run-in of two and a half furlongs. The five furlong course, which rises throughout with a distinct jink after a furlong and a straight bend to the right at halfway, provides a severe test for juveniles at the start of the season. The downhill turn into the straight and the short run-in prevent this from being an entirely galloping track.

By Road: 7 miles from the M62 (junction 38) off the A1035. Free car parking opposite the course. Owners and Trainers use a seperate enclosure.

By Rail : Beverley Station (Hull - Scarborough line). Occassional bus service to the course (one mile).
